1. Introduction — Why the Gospel Matters

Every person longs for meaning, hope, and forgiveness. But Scripture teaches that our deepest need is spiritual—we are separated from God because of sin. The plan of salvation is God’s story of reaching out to rescue you, restore you, and give you new life through Jesus Christ. This isn’t about religion—it’s about a relationship with the God who made you and loves you.

2. The Problem — Why We Need Saving

Something inside each of us knows the world is broken—and so are we.

  • We all sin

  • Sin separates us from God, bringing death both now and forever.²

  • We cannot save ourselves. No moral effort or self-improvement can erase guilt or reconnect us to God.

Sin is not just a mistake—it is rebellion against a holy God. But God did not leave us in that condition.

3. God’s Solution — What Jesus Did for Us

While we could not reach up to God, God came down to us in Jesus Christ.

God’s Love for You

Even in our sin, God pursued us.³

Jesus’ Life, Death, and Resurrection

  • He lived a perfect life in full obedience to the Father.

  • He died on the cross as our substitute.

  • He rose again in victory over sin and death.

The empty tomb is God’s declaration that salvation is real, finished, and freely offered to all who believe.⁴

4. Your Response — How to Receive Salvation

Salvation is a gift, but you must receive it.

Repent

Repentance means turning away from sin and turning toward God.

Believe

Trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.⁵

Call on Jesus

God promises that everyone who calls on Him in faith will be saved.⁶

5. The Results — What Happens When You Come to Christ

When you trust in Jesus:

  • Your sins are forgiven.

  • You become a child of God.

  • You receive the Holy Spirit.

  • You are given new purpose and eternal life.

God not only changes your future—He changes your heart.

6. The Gospel in One Sentence

God saves sinners by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, restoring them to the relationship they were created for.

7. Invitation — How You Can Be Saved Today

God is inviting you to receive salvation today. If you are ready to trust Jesus, you may call out to Him in prayer. These words are not magic—they simply help express what is happening in your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe You died for me and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust You alone for salvation. Make me new and lead me from this day forward. I give my life to You. Amen.”

If that prayer reflects your heart, God’s promise is clear—you will be saved.⁶
